J's heart sank the moment I had a quick glance at my HKCEE certifiicate. J, a 20-year-old student who is reluctant to Hong Kong's education system, has already locked himself in his own bedroom for a whole day. Thinking once again that he failed to fulfil his parent's hope on him, a warm tear trickled down his face.

Meanwhile, he heard a sob outside. He pressed his ear close to the door, and found at once that it was actually his mom crying. He opened the door which has not been opened for a night immediately.

"Stop crying, mom," said J guiltily. "it is all my fault! However, to be frank, my talent is not on history but on design. I know it might not be understandable to you, but I beg for your kind forgiveness."

J's mother was a kind and considerate woman. Although she was disappointed to J's academic performance, she never blamed him. She believed that a carrer which J really loved is more important.

"Is this true? Can you swear that you will study hard on design?" asked J's mother with eyes still in tears. "Yes, I promise I really would." J replied affirmatively. "Good. I decide to sent you overseas to study design."
