Try to learn various breathing techniques.And do them daily.Also look into learning tai chi.Believe me this works.To rid anger from ones self you must calm the mind.Anger comes from fear.So whatever is causing you to get angry,try and learn about it.And you will begin to control it.
Becoming aware of the anger as soon as it rises up in you. The moment you "see" an emotion that you do not want, it diminishes. If you can't make it diminish then it is best to learn to release it in constructive ways; like through exercise; work or writing.
