我剛剛領取了18歲以上的智能身份證.
我已有一1本2008年到期的特區護照,(我想大約是14,5歲時申請吧,2008年尾才到期)
我今年12月要去日本,那要再申請一本18歲以上的特區護照麻?
年滿18歲領取了身份證,要再申請特區護照嗎?

As long as your passport is still vaild ( not going to expire in 6 months) , you can use it to go to enter most of the countries. id card is not related to passport. id card is for internal use within Hong Kong only, while passport is for travel.

有些國家見到你的護照快到期,會拒絕你入境的,安全起見申請一本吧!
