the slope of line L = (4+2)/(1+5) =1so
the equation of line L is
y = x + 1
x -y +1 = 0

=(1-(-5))/(4-(-2))
=(1+5)/(4+2)
=6/6
=1
Because L is parallel to the line,so they have same slope,

so,
the equation of L:
(y-1)/(x-0)=1
(y-1)/x=1
y-1=x
x-y+1=0
=(1-(-5))/(4-(-2))
=(1+5)/(4+2)
=6/6
=1
