麥兜故事〔噢！聖誕樹〕歌詞是由謝立文作詞，改編自聖誕歌“O Christmas Tree”

聖誕歌“O Christmas Tree”源自是一首德國歌“O Tannenbaum”。
Tannenbaum 即是杉樹 Fir，品種屬於松科；冷杉屬常綠喬木，生長在海拔2500米～4000米的山區寒帶上。高可達30米，胸徑3米，樹幹端直，樹形整齊。
由於杉樹在寒冬裡仍然青翠，引發起詩人的歌頌，寫成此曲著入歌詞，再演變成今天英語版的“O Christmas Tree”。
