Crude oil is liquid in RTP but natural gas is in gaseous state.
i.e. The melting and boiling point for crude oil is higher than natural gas.
Natural gas can easily attain complete combustion but crude oil is not.
i.e. Burning of crude oil is more sooty than natural gas.
The flashpoint is lower for natural gas than crude oil.
i.e. The reactivity (flamability) is higher for natural gas than crude oil.
