Gross profit的定義

Gross Profit
= Sales - Cost of goods sold
Sales
= Sales - Returns Inwards
Cost of goods sold
= Opening Stock+Purchases+Carriage inwards-Returns outwards - Closing Stock
因為sales 係你既 revenue/income...咁你要賣野就一定要有貨...
咁好多時d 貨係要cost 既...
咁就要將 收入 - 左 支出....就有gross profit~

而係transaction/tradings 中既 income 同 expenses 就遲d 先計去 net profit~
