the same happened on my mk 5 last week and hasnt stopped, i looked in the user manual and it just says warning mechanical problem, but im sure its the service

it means it is due 4 a service when you take it in 4 a service the garage will turn the light off

emition problems...topping oil might solve the probs.otherwise a trip to garage....
