(a) The market price should be higher as the supply curve will shift to the left ( decrease in supply) because sellers sell illegal VCDs decreased.(b) The market price should be higher as the demand curve will shift to the right ( increase in demand) because the buyers bought illegal VCDs will shift to buy legal VCDs.
