有關phrase verb, prep. phrase的分別

phrasal verb中文是片語動詞，即一個verb+Prep.而成片語的動詞，而其功用仍然作為動詞，如：



come roud甦醒

e.g.The wounded soldier soon came round.



take off起飛

e.g.The plane will take off soon



但Prep. phrase就是介詞片語，是介詞＋補語（Preposition+complement)而成的片語
如：We saw a girl with a small dog（with a small dog就是介詞片語）
He writes well on the whole（其中on the whole就是介詞片語）
I must admit I felt very sorry for her(for her就是介詞片語）
