Volume of pyramid = 1/2 * base area * HeightI could be very wrong but you could try finding the area (base area) of the hexagon first and then putting it into the equation above to obtain the volume of a hexagonal pyramid.

v=1/2sqr.root3*h*a^2
a=length of the base
h=height
v=1/2sqr.root3*15inches*6inches^2
=467.653718inches ~468 inches

maybe you could use bh/3, formula for volume of triangular pyramid. then multiply it by 6. coz there are 6 triangular pyramid in ur hexagonal pyramid.
its like [ (6in *15 in) / 3 ] 6
