Range = 10y - 2 = 10
y = 12
Mean = (2+3+12+6+4+4+5+7)/8 = 5.375
Standard deviation = sqrt{[2-5.375)^2 + (3-5.375)^2 + ... + (7-5.375)^2]/8} = 2.91
