f(x) = x^2 -3X +1 and g(x) = 7+2xf(x+1) =(x+1)^2-3(x+1)+1
=x^2+2x+1-3x-3+1
=x^2-x-1
g(3x) = 7+2(3x)
=7+6x
f(x+1) = g(3x)
x^2-x-1 =7+6x
x^2-7x-8=0
(x+1)(x-8)=0
x=-1 or x=8

x^2+2x+1-3x-3+1=7+6x
x^2-7x-8=0
(x-8)(x+1)=0
so x=8 or -1
(x+1)^2-3(x+1)+1=7+2(3x)
x^2+2x+1-3x-3+1=7+6x
x^2-7x-8=0
(x-8)(x+1)=0
so x=8 or -1
