Depends on what do you normally do with the bag...

I personally perfer the M SIZE because you don't want to carrd the L one and it seems like a school bag or gym bag. But it all depends on what do you put in the bag.

however, the M size also has 2 types of straps, one is shorter for you to carry around the arm r just carry it by hand (it looks cute!) and the other has longer straps and can put on the shoulder. In fact, the arm handle size one is actually gd enough to put on the shoulder if you really want (& if you are not v. big!).

About the colour! i guess it also depends on your age and when do you wear it.
If you want young and modern - I suggest light blue or purple very summer
If you classic and elegant - black or burgundy are nice and classic and not too 'C Lai'
If you are careless person then better stick with dark colour because you don't want the bag get dirty.

the latest season has the shinny leather (patent) and you can consider about it and they have white in colour as well, very unique.

Btw, Longcham have sales twice a year. Of course, they probably only have sales on selected items and that may not be the colour you want. But the price is very big different.
