-The Five People You Meet in Heaven

3. The Catcher in the Rye
-You must read this one. I read it when I was studying English Literature. It's thought-provoking.

4. Girl, Interrupted

im currently reading "a spot of bother", it's not bad, and"the curious incident of the dog in the night time" by the same arthur mark haddon is good, or mitch albom's books are pretty famous and highly recommended in hk (tuesday with morrie, 5 ppl u meet in heaven, for one more day...), also i think the harry potter books are cool, they are not baby books. what i've mentioned are popular books

but you have to tell us more about your interests and your level, it's hard to recommend books to you without knowing what u need.

besides, u can go to all those big bookshops' web, they always have lists of best sellers and recommendations for both chinese and English books, or simply pay a visit to a bigger bookshop, you would for sure easily pick something to read.
