用reported speech時,點解本Eng書話"we do not change the tense if the information is true when we report it"? 唔明. 本Eng書 exmple : ' I'm flying to Singapore tonight. ' May told me this morning.----reported speech ----> May told me this morning that she is flying to Singapore tonight.
點解不用 was flying?

✔ 最佳答案
I'm flying to Singapore tonight
改做:
I was flying to Singapore that night.
你本書係唔係未轉???

轉左之前:
I'm flying to Singapore tonight.
轉左之後:
I was flying to Singapore that night.

It didn’t use ‘was flying’ is because it is not past tense, which means it didn’t happened before, but it’s going to happened.
