其中一部腦有兩張LAN卡，可否一張駁Modem, 一張用 cable接 wifi router 接其他電腦?? crossover CAT5 LAN cable接 wifi router?

My purpose of the above is due to the router decrease the speed a lot, so if the desktop connect to ISP first, then the router as an Access Point, hope the dl speed (mainly by the desk top) wont be affect then the others laptop could still share the internet.

當然可以, 但要視乎你目的為何...

我猜想是你接modem 的一張是連上 ISP, 另一張想 share 給其他機器??
如是,你要設定電腦中的 ICS (要做 NAT)
和 router 其他一些設定, 如 WAN 的連接方式等 (內設值一定不合適),
但這樣似乎是大費周章, 為何不直接把 modem 接到 router, 然後共用呢 ??

又或者你不是想去 share internet 只是想用router 連到其他電腦, (即係唔畀人上網, 只係自己獨立上)
那麼, 你根本不用 crossover cable, 因為只要你接到 router 的其中一個 LAN port 就得, 你就和其他電腦在同一個 sub-net, 可以 share printer , folder 等
