虐兒

身體虐待
 指任何施加於配偶身上而蓄意造成傷害的行為
 例：掌摑、推撞、拳打腳踢、淋滾水、用武器襲擊等。

精神虐待
 指作出令配偶在精神或心理上備受困擾的行為，結果令對方產生恐懼、自我形象受損，甚至是對施虐者增加依賴。
 施虐者通常並非一時失控，而是有意識地不斷重覆向對方施予虐待。
 例：恐嚇、喝罵、侮辱、禁錮、嚴控經濟、社交等自由。

身體或性虐待
 任何襲擊或蓄意令長者的身體或健康有損的行為。
 例：導致他們有瘀傷、營養不良、脫臼、強迫性接觸、禁錮等。

疏忽照顧
 任何蓄意及非蓄意地對長者疏於照顧，使其得不到基本生活所需。
 例：拒絕跟長者交談、不給予足夠的食物。

虐兒
虐待兒童是指任何危害或損害兒童身體或心理健康發展的行為。施虐者可能是父母或監護人，或任何受委託照顧及管教兒童的人士。他們利用本身的特殊地位(如年齡、身分、組織)而能單獨或集體地對兒童施以虐待。
虐待兒童主要分為四大類，包括身體虐待、性侵犯、疏忽照顧及精神虐待。
