家庭悲劇在香港看來好像赲來赲多, 今年一至八月的家暴案件增至四千九百六十七宗, 較去年同期升近一倍。上星期六天水圍, 一宗新慘案。
在這兩件事件裡，我都為那些小朋友感到惋惜和悲憫。我認為小朋友是有生存的權利，父母不應因為家庭問題而犧牲小朋友的生命。子女心目中的父母有如「守護天使」，若不幸被父母利用作為要脅工具，甚至受到傷害，會嚴重影響其弱小心靈，對世界充滿疑惑，對家庭失去安全感，對人失去信任，長遠更會增加情緒病的機會。

Family tragedies are becoming a serious problem in Hong Kong. 4967 new cases were found from January to August which is doubled by last year. Meanwhile, a great proportion was taken place in Tin Shui Wai. The latest incident was found there on last saturday. It implies many new concerns has raising up about domestic violence.
On last Friday, the mother who committed suicide after throwing her children to their deaths. A three-year-old boy pleaded with his mother not to throw him from the 17th floor.
In this two cases, I feel sorrowful even angry. I do believe that children is innocence and should be alive. Parents should not put their life in jeopardy. In Chinese, parents is a safeguard to their children. If children betrayed by parents even got hurt, their mentality may have severe impact to parents. Children may be lost the faith to the world, lost the safety to the home, lost the trust to other people. Even anxiety afflicts may be caused in future.

In these two incidents, I feel sorry and sad and pityful for those children. I think that children have the right to survive , parents should not sacrifice children's life because of family problem . If the parents in the minds of children are utilized unfortunatly as coercing tools like defend angels, even injured, will influence its small and weak soul seriously , will doubt to the world, lose sense of safety to family , lose confidence to people , can increase chance , mood of disease even more while being long-term.
