1. 4a = 5b and 3b = 4c

So, a = 5b / 4 and c = 3b / 4

Therefore, a : b : c

= 5b / 4 : b : 3b / 4

= 5 : 4 : 3

2. Let x be the side of square A

y be the side of square B

So, 4x : 4y = 3 : 5

x : y = 3 : 5

So, the required ratio is 3 : 5

1.
4a = 5b ==> a:b = 5:4
3b = 4c ==> b:c = 4:3
a:b:c = 5:4:3

2.
Let a be the side of square A and b be the side of square B.
Perimeter of two squares are 4a and 4b
4a:4b = 3:5
a:b = 3:5
Hence ratio fo the side of square A to that of B is 3:5
