(III) Horizontal translation: It means the curve moves "left or right". (This answer is not sure.)

Case (A)
vertex (-1, 4)
(i) draw the new graph with vertex located at (3, 4)
(ii) (3,4)
(iii) the new equation of the graph can be found by putting x' = x - 4 (where x' is the new x)
y = -(x-4+1)^2 +4
y = -(x-3)^2 +4

Case (B)
vertex (-1, 4)
(i) draw the new graph with vertex located at (-3, 4)
(ii) (-3, 4)
(iii) the new equation of the graph can be found by putting x' = x + 2 (where x' is the new x)
y = -(x+2+1)^2 +4
y = -(x+3)^2 +4
