the honour degree systems vary from country to country, for example, in the UK, it usually depends on the average grades of your academic results (eg, >70 = 1st hon, 60-70 = 2nd upper hon, 50-60 = 2nd lower hon, 40-50 = 3rd hon)
in the UK, there is an agency which can confirm whether a non-UK degree is equivalent to an UK hon degree
