Explain in your own words the followings:
a) The difference between analytical and numerical solutions; and
b) The meaning of probability distribution and the difference between discrete and continuous data?

a)
Analytical solution: Can be computed directly by formula, or known method
Numerical solution: The solution cannot be solved by direct(known) method/formula. Then, numerical method will be used ot estimate the solution.

b)
Probability distribution: To list all the possible outcomes(random variables) and its relative probability.

Discrete data: This kind of data is countable. The random variables are shown in "one by one" basis. Example, x=1,2,3,6,10,.....

Continuous data: This kind of data is uncountable. No individual random variable will be given. Instead, a region of random variable will be given such as 1<2. Continuous random variable will come along with probability distribution function f(x).
