The costs between £2200-2500 per room per year(with basic in your room, the toilet and bath room are out side)The room is very simple(a bed, a bookself, a table lamp, a desk, a drawer). If you wish all toilet in your single room, it costs about £3000-3400 per year per room(Check with accommodation department of uni). Transport-it depends on where are you live and where is your compas, sometimes your classroom is near your hall but sometime is far away. The betterr away weekly ticket £13-15. If you wish more cheaper, buy a bicycle when you are settle down with the pad lock. Living costs, it depends on youeself. For example(my son/first year uni) He cook the breadfast, lunch and dinner if he get the time, he only spend £20-30 per week. Inernet is free from uni and the phone bill is cheap at the moment, it costs about £25 pounds per 250 min and 250 txt. Normally, theu use txt more than talk and they use computer more, such as msn, skype also. On the other hand, another expense is social life, they always go out for a drink, if only in the hall's pub, it is cheap but if to normally pub, it is quite expensive. How much? It depends on yourself.
