眼移植可能嗎？

Transplantation surgery of eyeball(眼球移植手術) is still not possible.
Besides the eyeball transplanted may not match the patient's body tissue, the major reason of why eyeball cannot be transplanted s that nerve fibres, even from the same individual, cannot be linked artificially.
There is an optic nerve behind the blind spot of the eyeball. Optic nerve contains bundles of motor neurones and sensory neurones which cannot be linkedby any medical treatments or surgeries. Even if a peson breaks his/her nerve fibres accidentally, the broken nerve fibres cannot be connected, too.
