JAMES BLUNT既TEARS AND RAIN背後既意思係咩.......

這首歌背後的意思並不是那麼 straight forward，你甚至就憑這首歌的歌詞去寫一篇心理學或社會學的畢業論文。
先從歌名 Tears and rain去看，中外都有類似的題材，以前有首英文歌叫Rain and tears，亦有首中文歌叫是雨是淚，在未细聽此曲前巳可知這首歌並非一首黑白分明的作品，Tears and rain 混在一起來個fusion，東西糾纏不清。
到了歌詞，先要解釋誰是Dorian Gray，因為歌詞中有提到此人，Dorian Gray 是小說人物，外表討人歡喜，但內心却充滿邪惡，並出賣自己的靈魂，是一典型外裏不一的人。他的真我就顯露在一幅他的人像照中，這人像照中的Dorian Gray會變老變醜，最後Dorian Gray把刀子插向人像照自殺。

接著是I guess it's time I run far, far away; find comfort in pain，其中find comfort in pain是被虐傾向，有人說這句是全曲的最主要的一句。
跟著便是講Dorian Gray:
All pleasure's the same: it just keeps me from trouble. Hides my true shape like Dorian Gray. I've heard what they say, but I'm not here for trouble。
