Let x be the number of times that the team lost,
so the number of time that the team won would be (x + 10)
the number of time that the team tied would be (x+2)

x + (x+10) + (x+2) = 24
3 x +12 = 24
3x = 12
x = 4

so, the number of times they won = 4+10 = 14
the number of times they lost = 4
the number of times they tied = 4+2 =6

W+L+T=24 --- (1)
W-10=L --- (2)
T-2=L --- (3)

Sub (2) & (3) into (1),
L+10 + L + L+2 = 24
3L = 12
L=4
W=14
T=6
Therefore, games they won, lost and tied are 14,4 & 6 respectively.
