我用了過去式 (looked)/過去進行式 (were looking), looking 之前應該有 verb to be (i.e. were/are/ am/was)﹐這是基本的英文文法。

I propose the following amendments:
Subsequent to our discussion with the IT officer, we concluded that we needed to purchase some necessary computer equipment to aid our work, such as one desktop computer including monitor, one scanner, and one database software.

請改成下列：
After discussing with the IT officer, we all look for the necessary computer equipment for purchase, such as desktop computer with monitor, scanner and database software.

After our discussion with the IT officer, we all looking for the necessary computer equipment for purchasing; such as one desktop computer, monitor, one scanner, and one database software.
