I am going to Taipei for 2 weeks in mid January just for travelling and i wanna stay in a local family to learn about the culture and language as well. and hopefully it would be a bit cheaper than staying in the hotel.
any idea?
p.s. i m originally from hong kong so i can speak mandarin and cantonese.

幫你看了一下,也查詢一下目前台灣的 homestay 比較沒有接待短期的學生
因為這些 homestay 都是有簽約還要跟政府核報
所以短期兩個禮拜的比較少遇到
不過我還是會幫你留意一下
這裡有一些是提供給短期Homestay的hotel
所以我不知道他們是否有提供用餐或是可以進行文化交流的部份

All peaceful and non-smoking international travelers are welcome. A guest donates NT$500/HK$125 (NT$800 for 2 guests) a night for security, cleaning, utilities, etc. Prof. Lee is teaching part time. He promises you a very safe and pleasant stay at his place. He can give you valuable tourist information and tips. He and/or his wife will show you around Taipei if you do not know Chinese.
