1) Will the anti-virus programmes crash each other when i am using more than one?

Yes, if you use more than one antivirus software, they will crash each other. So you should only use one.

2) Is Kaspersky 7.0 a good choice?
Yes. I am currently using this. It works fine, will not slow down the machine, and it updates every 2 hours. Also, some foreign website have tested it and reported very good scanning capability.

3) does it help repair the infected files?
Yes, most antivirus can repair infected files, and this one is no exception.

4) Do you have any other good choices?
If you want a free programme, AVG is not bad. Also you can try Avast (www.avast.com), or AOL Mcafee special edition (www.activevirusshield.com). Both are free for personal use,

5) How much is it selling out there?
I am not quite sure about the price, because there are different package. The one I bought (Kaspersky 7.0) was about $3xx, with 2 years subscription. But I know there are oter packages, like you can install one 3 PC for 1 purchases (but it will cost more). There is also a version that has firewall budnled too.
