如果是用於說話技巧既話：
negative - 直接作出負面平價或意見
例：
This movie was bored.
He is a lazy person.

partial negative - 作出負面平價或意見，但不完全否定其正面價值
例：
This movie was bored in the beginning. ( it may have an interesting ending)
He is not polite most of the time. (he may be polite sometime but not often)

double negative - 利用否定詞+負面形容辭來達成正面平價既技巧
例：
This movie was not bored at all. ( instead of saying it was interesting)
He's attitude at work is not bad recently. (instead of saying he is better lately)

implied negative - 間接地作出負面平價或意見
例：
This movie is not worth watching. (means this movie is bored or bad)
He is not the right man for this job. (means he is not skillful or qualify )

implied positive - 間接地作出正面平價或意見
例：
She could be a good mother. (implies she likes children or something similar)
His new song was a big hit. (implies the song was very good or popular)
