The bathroom was very busy.
Everyone was always hungry.

She opened the birthday card beside her bed. ‘Happy birthday! Sleep in for a bit,’ it said.
On the bathroom door Mrs Chan found another card.
‘Happy birthday! Have a long hot bath,’ it said. Mrs Chan found her breakfast on the table. Beside it was a card.

‘Where is everyone?’ asked Mrs Chan.
Then she found another card.
It said, ‘Meet us at the park.’
‘Happy birthday!’ shouted everyone when Mrs Chan arrived at the park.
‘We’re having a birthday picnic… and there are no dishes to do!’
