A charged perspex rod can be discharged by passing it just above a flame, because the flame ionizes the surrounding air molecules.
我想問火點樣 ionizes the surrounding air molecules??

The air molecules are ionized by vigorous collisions because of the heat of the flame.
The flame raises the temperature of the air surrounding it, thus causes the air molecules to collide drastically. During such collisions, outer orbital electrons are knocked off from the atoms, thus causing ionization.
In the actual fact, the flame itself is already a plasma, which composes of ionized gas molecules.
