The sum of 6 and the product of 6 and a number is equalto the square of 6. Find the number.
The difference between two numbers is 10. If the sum of the smaller number multiplied by 4 and the larger number multiplied by 1/3 is 25 ,find the TWO numbers.

I guess your first question
Let the number be x
6+6x=6x6
6x =36-6
6x =30
6x/6=30/6
x =5
Therefore,the number is 5.
2.let the bigger number be x
4x+1/3(x+10)=25
4x+x/3+10/3=25
12x/3+x/3+10/3=25
(13x+10)/3=25
13x+10=75
13x=75-10
13x=65
13x/13=65/13
x=5
Therefore,the smaller number is 5.The bigger number is 5+10
=15
