English - talk around

talk around並不是談論的意思，照你的句子的意思，你應用talk about
my colleagues are talking about the rumour(colleague已是同事的意思，同事必指在工作地點的同事，所以不用多說the company colleagues這類贅詞）
而talk around（round)就有幾種的用法，
１）第一是指說服
　　如：I will try to talk her around（我會儘量說服她）
２）是指說話兜圈子的意思
　　如：I felt that he just talked round the subject and didn't tackle the main issues（我覺得他在兜圈子，沒有處理最主要的問題）

talk around
1. To persuade: I talked them around to my point of view.
2. To speak indirectly about: talked around the subject but never got to the point.
