關於做Merchandiser的Responsibilities可以點寫

Merchandiser 包括以下工作:

Product development :-
-fabric and trims sourcing
-follow up with samples
-costing
-quote time & action calenda
-fabric and trim quality approval
-meeting with buyer/designer
-nego price with buyer and fty
-nego delivery with buyer and fty

Production follow up:-
-order allocation (place order to fty & place fbrc ord to mill )
-approve bulk fabric, trims and labelling
-fit and preproduction sample approval
-follow up with gmt test report
-follow up with mill in case any shortage or fbrc defect problem
-Issue PO to fty.
-Follow up with account dept to issue L/C to fty ( incase necessary)
-follow up incase any fbrc/trim and production issue
-help the Buyer's QC for inspection

Shipment
-coordinate with shipping dept to make shipment effect.
-follow up the packing list with fty or packing section.
some buyer request packing list of each shipment. Basically this job is make by shipping, but Merchandiser need to follow up.
-follow up with buyer in case there is any short shipment.

Payment
-coordinate with account dept and buyer in case necessary.

因應商行或工厂的不同種類會有不同的工作,而分工亦與公司架構及人力資源有不同。Merchandiser 的工作範圍廣，見識層面亦廣大，做Merchandiser 很易，但做一個好的/全面/成功的Merchandiser一D都唔簡單。
