Give him a hug and tell your friends he's a good guy but a bit needy.
Hey it sounds like he is anyway.
You can't blame him though can you, I mean he loves his little girl.

I am a father and its my purpose in life to embarass my kids..enjoy it while you can girl he wont be around forever

My dad did that to me too, don't wry once you get to university it will all end. I'm going to assume that you will be living on campus...It's my first year in university, and I'm on rez ..I won't lie its a lot of freedom! I came home this weekend my father doesnt baby me no more b/c he realized that i'm growing up myself at university, and that i've learnt to take care of myself

if it bothers you let him know....tell him your not ashamed of him and the relationship you have with him .....but there are certain things you wish he wouldn't do when your around other people ....you may wind up hurting him...and he may not ever be with you like he used to....but you never know...he might see that his little girl is grown.

well... tell your dad that you are all grown up and you dont want to be treated like a baby. tell him the truth but not harshly. in a calm way ofcourse. tll him you appreciate that hes always there beside you butnow its time to make a small space between you guys like tell him stop treating you like a baby but treat you like a teenager.
