I think your calculatio wasn't correct.Tuition cost + Room & board cost = $6582
Tuition cost is $704 more than room & board
--> tuition cost - room & board cost = 704
let tuition cost = X
room & board cost = Y
X-Y=704
X=704+Y
We also know X+Y=6582
704+Y+Y=6582
2Y=5878
Y=2939
X=3643
Hence Tuition Cost = $3643
and Room & Board cost = $2939
