A. volume lower, temperature lower
Because the molecules of water and alcohol is not of same size, after mixing, some water molecules will go into the previous spaces between alcohol molecules and the total volume will decrease.
The reaction (mixing) of distilled water and pure alcohol is endothermic.
I hope this can help your understanding. :)

Sorry, I have make a mistake about the reaction (mixing) of distilled water and pure alcohol. It is exothermic (give out energy)So the answer is D. volume lower, temperature higher ----------------
