✔ 最佳答案
第一個是過去時態和過去的繼續時態
第二個是過去時態和過去的完成時態
所以分別就是繼續和完成
1. We use past tense when we are describing an action in the past which WE KNOW WHAT TIME WAS THAT (Of course in the past)
Usually there will be a words of phrase indicate the time, like ago, yesterday.
Usually we will +ed after the verb. But for most of the verb, they will be changed completely.
E.G. I SAW Sam YESTERDAY
I CLEANED the floor TWO HOURS AGO.
We use past continuous tense when we are describing an action which WE WERE DOING and WE KNOW WHAT "PERIOD OF TIME" WAS THAT.
Usually the form will be ( was/were + Verb-ing)
E.G. I WAS PLAYING GUITAR from 11:00AM TO 1:00PM YESTERDAY.
HE WAS HAVING a football match with his classmate AT THIS TIME TWO DAYS AGO.
2. From the above, I have shown you when will we use past tense. I will tell you how to use past tense and past perfect tense in the following instead.
We often use past tense andp ast perfect tense together WHEN WE WANT TO COMPARE TWO ACTIONS IN THE PAST IN TERMS OF WHICH ONE CAME EARLIER AND WHICH ONE CAME LATER.
For past perfect tense, the form is in (had + Verb-pp)
For example, there was something happened yesterday. One of them is bell rang and one of them is the phone rang. I want to tell other people than, the bell rang before hte phone rang, so I will use PAST PERFECT TENSE for bell rang and PAST TENSE for phone rang.
--> The bell HAD RUNG before the phone RANG.
You may ask why there is NO TIME INDICATED. Usually when your passage or your composition is writing something in the past, other people will know that.
(I hope I don't spell wrong for verb-pp form of ring //flee)
Hope it helps
