help for my hp computer (a528hk)!!!

i am using a hp computer (a528hk), however, i have lost my recovery disc......therefore i installed windows xp by a new Microsoft Windows XP disc......unfortunately.......after finish the installation...the computer said there is some problem with my sound card.....and now there is no sound input + output function!!!

is there any way to fix it (except buying a new hp recovery disc)?
