eco fashion (aka sustainable fashion) refers to clothes that is designed to be environmentally friendly.
nowadays, a lot of fashion items are made with man-made materials that in the process of production does harm to the environment e.g. dying of cloths with chemicals that pollutes ; or would upset the natural ecosystem and animal food chain, e.g. wearing fur requires killing of wild animals.
eco fashion items are generally referring to two types of products:
1, items made with organically grown materials. e.g. organic cotton
2, items that are sold to raise money for environmental protection causes.

I personally wouldn't mind paying a bit more for eco fashion items, as they does good to the earth. Recently I just got a dress made of organic cotton from H&M. but I doubt that if it's just a promotion strategy or they really care for the environment?
