london trip- oyster vs 3 days pass

i will go to london 5 days (mainly go to Zone one and Zone two). Should i buy 3days ticket + 2 tickets of one day pass or buy Oyster. What are the different, how to buy it and how much is it? is it have 7 days pass? Thanks a lot!!!

Hi,
You can pick up oystercard at any underground station. For fares and tickets, please refer to http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/default.aspx
I think you will be better off using Oystercard. From my experience, it is only worth the value of travelcard if you take 3 or more trips on the underground. The Oystercard will automatically convert into a travelcard if you exceed the "capped" price so you don't have to buy the travelcard everyday.

The Oyster has a ceiling to which the day total fares will not exceed the corresponding day pass. To me, both are equally the same.
