The first principle states that people are faced with trade-off . This means that there is no such a thing- free lunch . Some of the large supermarkets or chain stores don't stop selling their merchandise which may be overdue there even if they have known it . Once customers buy this kind of merchandise , trade-off will happen to them . As a result , the firms will earn more money .

no such thing ....should be singular since free lunch is a singular noun
