What is the past tense of "SHUT DOWN"?

HI i just wanted to know the past tense of "Shut Down".

Or if some one asks me to shut down my PC then what should be my answer after doing it.

I know one answer that is "I Switched off the PC". Is there a better sentence.

The past tense of "shut" is still shut. Therefore, there is not changes needed.

"I had shut down my PC"

"I switched off my PC." is fine too.

No change.
It remains same for all the tenses i.e. present, past and past-participle.
Otherwise answer to the request may just be a confirmation like: -
"It is done" or
"I have done it".

There is no past tense for shut.
Just say it is shut down or it has been shut down
