HI i just wanted to know the past tense of "Shut Down".
Or if some one asks me to shut down my PC then what should be my answer after doing it.
I know one answer that is "I Switched off the PC". Is there a better sentence.

The past tense of "shut" is still shut. Therefore, there is not changes needed."I had shut down my PC"

There is no past tense for shut.
Just say it is shut down or it has been shut down
