Initial speed, u = 70 kmh-1 = 70 kmh-1 X (1000 m / 1 km) X (1 h / 3600 s) = 19.44 ms-1

Final speed, v = 50 kmh-1 = 50 kmh-1 X (1000 m / 1 km) X (1 h / 3600 s) = 13.89 ms-1

Displacement, s = 30 m

By v2 = u2 + 2as

(13.89)2 = (19.44)2 + 2a(30)

a = -3.08 ms-2

So, the minimum deceleration of the car is 3.08 ms-2.
