Traditionally, on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomeloes together.Mid-autumn festival(中秋節) is a Chinese festival. Chinese like to eat dinner together with their family. The students will light the lantern(燈籠). The lighted lantern is beautiful. People will enjoy the moonlight at mid-autumn festival too. When they were enjoying the moonlight(月光), they will eat the mooncake(月餅) and the fruit like starfruit(楊桃) and pear etc.

Accompanying the celebration, I ate moon cakes outside under the moon, put pomelo rinds on my head, carried brightly lit lanterns, burned incense in reverence to deities including Chang'e, planted Mid-Autumn trees, lighted lanterns on towers, fired Dragon Dances and displayed pictures of Chang'e floating to the moon.
