Present tense 現在式,通常用於習慣行為上,沒有說明特定時間,例如:
I eat breakfast every morning.(我每天早上吃早餐)

Present continuous tense 現在進行式,用於特定一段時間上,已經開始,仍在進行中,但到現在仍未停止,例如:
I am eating breakfast now.(我正在吃早餐)

Present perfect tense 現在完成式,用於現在,之前已經開始一段時間,到現在剛剛停止,例如:
I have eaten breakfast.(我剛剛吃完早餐)

present tense是指在一些平時都會做的事情

是continous,not continuos.

present=the BASICest form
p. cntinous=that basic form will continue for a short perid of time
