Mark's monthly salary is $20000. He has a surplus if he spends less than his salary; he has a deficit if he spends more than his salary. Taking surplus as positive number and deficit as negative number, he recorded the surplus and deficit in the first six months of this year in the table below.

更新1:

Mark 既月薪係$20000,假如佢既支出比佢月薪少就會有盈餘,但如果佢支出比入息多就會有赤字
我地拎盈餘為正數,赤字為負數,以下既表列出左佢六個月的盈餘和赤字

(a) Which month did he spend the least and what was the amount?
邊一個月份佢用得最少錢同用左幾多錢?
February,20000-3000 = 17000
(b) Which month did he spend the most and want was the amount?
邊一個月份佢用得最多錢同月左幾多錢?
May,20000+6000 = 26000

Jan
Mark's salary = 20000
Expense = 20000 - 2000 = 18000

Feb
Mark's salary = 20000 + 2000 (from Jan's surplus) = 22000
Expense = 22000 - 3000 = 19000

Mar
Marks's salary = 20000 + 3000 (from Feb) = 23000
Expense = 23000 + 3500 = 26500

Apr
Mark's salary = 20000
Expense = 20000 -1500 = 18500

May
Mark's salary = 20000 + 1500 (from Apr's surplus) = 21500
Expense = 21500 + 6000 = 27500

Jun
Mark's salary = 20000
Expense = 20000 - 2500 = 17500

From the above analysis,
He spent spent the most and the least in May (27500) and Jun (17500) respectively
