1. A

The increase in re-exports willl cause the GDP to increase.

However, with the increase in imports, the private consumption expenditure,

government expenditure and firm expenditure will increase in equal amount,

since that they are inter-related.

Therefore, the increase in imports does not change the GDP.

2. C

With the same explanation in question 1, under the expenditure approach,

the expenditure ( C+ I + G ) increases in the same amount with the increase

in imports since imports is the component that should not be counted in GDP.

(Resident producing unit)。

1) d
First of all, net export is part of the GDP calculation(contrary to what the first guy said, GDP = C + I + G + (X - I), it does include import.) Since we do not know the magnitude of increase in export or import, we do not know how does it affects GDP, for example if export goes up by 200, Import goes up by 100, then GDP goes up by 100. on the other hand, if import goes up by 200 whereas export goes up by 100, the GDP goes down by 100.
2) b
this time export remains unchange and import goes up, therefore, GDP goes down.
